*heavy sigh* all done

alright... the album is COMPLETE... i lied to you... i completely re-did the art work for the album and am going to release it with the album in a pdf file. The book is 10 pages of original artwork. The album will be released Oct. 5th with 9 tracks for $2.47. I'm a little trickster though because when you buy the album, you will get 6... yes 6... BONUS tracks that are "hidden" from the track list on the bandcamp (which means you can't just stream them). This will happen with the singles too! mwahaha! you have to download the whole album to actually get the 1-3 extra songs that come with it! i'm so smart. I also plan to release 7 singles... 1 has already been released. Each single will come with a pdf booklet thing and 1 to 3 b-sides (extra songs) which were recorded but never released. I have the books done for 2 of the singles... 5 to go! yay! I've kinda put a hault on writing anything else to work on the rest of the album. My plan is to try and wait at least 7 months to start really working on anything else... like that'll happen...

Update! And Other...

Okay... I think i've finally made up my mind... Falling out of Touch and Funeral are going to be released as a joint single on September 27 and then the albums release date has been pushed WAY up to October 5th . The Albums name is... "The Simple Yesterday". I finished the booklet thing this morning and have completed most of the singles artwork. AFTER the albums release, i'm going to release 3 more singles. I've already written 7 songs for the second set of songs (i usually like to have 30 to choose from). So far those songs are:
1. My Mind's Breaking Down
2. Dead
3. If You Have to Cry
4. Morning Light
5. The Story
6. The Wrong Way
7. an Intro
There is a lot of work to go into the album to come but i'm really excited to see how many people will actually buy it.

JERSEY SHORE 2 TONIGHT! Yes... my guilty pleasure... its the trashiest most worthless show i've ever watched but its like one of those things that you wanna look away but you just can't.

AND i love cop shows... seeing the... "people" that are brought into the station. One copule hid in the corner of the bathroom and started to have sex so she could go to prison pregnant? NO!!!! YOU DONT DO THAT IF YOU'RE NORMAL! SHE DOENT NEED PRISON! SHE NEEDS A PSYCH WARD!

Okay... right this second, i'm watching "in session" (a court show) and the trial is a 16 year old boy who killed a man who he said molested him. The people that are testifying against the BOY are saying that there is no way this man is gay. HELLO???? PEDOPHILES KNOW HOW TO KEEP THEMSELVES SECRET!!!! THEY DON'T COME OUT AND SAY "oh yeah, i totally like to molest little boys. mm hm, thats me." NO! Oh, and then when they find child porn (of little boys) on his computer, the woman says "he didnt purposefully save the pictures of the computer, he wasnt out to look for the pictures the addresses were just in the memory." WTF????????? NO! you don't just accidentally right click, save picutre as, no! that doesnt happen! you dont accidentally type in an entire website! no.. sorry lady, that doesnt work! He's a freak and the boy killed him. Just b/c you didnt know he molested children, doent mean he didnt... case closed.

Release Date and Other Information

So... I've decided on a date for myself to release the album *drum roll* January 11, 2011. It's a little wait but its time enough to hopefully get my name out there. If all goes according to what i have planned for the future right now, that is the release date. The album will go for sale on my bandcamp (zackerywilson.bandcamp.com incase you forgot) for 5.99 and a special three track EP will be released the same date for 1.99. While we are waiting for the album to come out, i've decided to release 2 more songs from the album... the first, Falling Out of Touch, will be released Monday October 25th and the second, Funeral, will be released Monday November 29th. Anyways, I've been writing for yet ANOTHER set of songs! Yeah... i'm a little ahead of myself but thats okay. On Friday August 21st, i will release a full track listing of the album (plus lyrics for a select few) and the day the album is released i will put on THIS site the 11 page booklet of artwork and lyrics that would typically come with an album if you bought it physically! yay! Well, for the readers that are out there, please take 30 seconds out of your life and write a teeny tiny lil comment like "cool" or "great"... you know? I Ditched MySpace

So last night i decided MySpace is retarded and it was time for it to go. I made a Facebook page shortly after and then stumbled upon this nifty lil website called BandCamp! It's a website in which independent artists such as ME can upload their music and have people download it. I did just that folks. My first "single" as you'd call it was released last night to unknown but probably little success. By the way the song is called "Back of the Room". A little background: I have this super massive fear of dying and this song explains just that. YES, i know it's not the greatest quality sound and my vocals are a little shabby but thats what real vocals sound like when they arent run through all the hooplah like autotune. I also discovered this wonderful company called Mixcraft. It allows you create songs using virtual, yes, VIRTUAL instruments. 4 of the 12 songs on my "album" will use this ah-mazing program. I believe i will have a release date for that said album this week. In the mean time, check out the song, Back of the Room, at zackerywilson.bandcamp.com and "like" my facebook page... not sure of the url but if you go into facebook and search "Zackery Wilson" i'll be there under the pages section. Okay, well, i got one comment (that i had to ask someone to leave) but it's still a comment. I guess no one is really reading this "blog" but i guess i'll go on. I've written a great deal of songs over the past year and have finally put 12 together to create what i guess you could call an album but whatever. If i get a few people to actually read this i kinda do plan on releasing it somehow some time in very late december or early january. i just set up a myspace page (www.myspace.com/zackwlsn) nd there you can hear a 1 minute sample of my song "Back of the Room".
